Clubs

The School has a host of clubs, of broadly academic and non-academic natures. We encourage the pupils to participate in the academic and non-academic club in line with our policy of “Balanced Schooling”.

Academic Club


    • Science

Learning about science should never be boring. We will be doing a series of experiments and visits to the science lab and the pupils will learn how modern day scientists are pushing the limits of space exploration every day. Motivating young minds towards Science and Technology, it is one of the most popular clubs and caters to the insatiable curiosity of young minds trying to grasp the basics of form, function and motion of mechanical devices.

 

    • Literary – English & Hindi

The club teaches the students the finer nuances of literature of these two languages and fosters better understanding and appreciation of the same.

 

    • Projects

Students will be making projects based on group activities which are related to their current ongoing academics. Materials will be brought from home and the project will be done in school. Topics will be given prior to enable the students to prepare well in advance.

 

    • Smart Kids Club

Our founder member Mr. Kalpesh Patel has a very unique bonding with each and every pupil of the school. The pupils long to interact with him on a regular basis. KP sir as we fondly call him, is very encouraging towards all the children and he encourages them and guides them at every step. He has conducted workshops with them as per their age and the children look forward to the projects that KP sir discusses with them and wants them to work on topics which interest them.

 

Fine Arts Club


    • Music

Students are atuned to a liking for music wherein they are taught various songs on the keyboard, table and the harmonium.Research has shown that music has a profound effect on your body and psyche. In fact, there’s a growing field of health care known as music therapy, which uses music to heal. Those who practice music therapy are finding a benefit in using music to help cancer patients, children with ADD, and others, and even hospitals are beginning to use music and music therapy to help with pain management, to help ward off depression, to promote movement, to calm patients, to ease muscle tension, and for many other benefits that music and music therapy can bring. This is not surprising, as music affects the body and mind in many powerful ways.

 

    • Singing

Singing is a way of healing for everyone and with the help of our professional faculty, great care is taken to introduce the different forms of singing right from the basics. Our school has its own choir. Children learn singing right from the Nursery, helping them to appreciate a mix of traditional, folk and popular Indian songs. Professionals are appointed to hone their talents further.

 

    • Dance& Drama

Our professional dance master is a good choreographer who teaches various dance forms to our students and the students enjoy every dance class once a week. Dance & Drama help children develop their personalities, gain self-confidence and improve communication skills. Children develop fluency in movements and actions, and learn to express themselves emphatically, in a creative manner.

 

    • Art & Craft

One of the objectives of education is to inculcate in children, the appreciation of beauty and to help them to develop a sense of aesthetics. A lot of emphasis is placed on Fine as well as Performing Arts. In addition to painting, sketching and regular craftwork, students are exposed to a variety of media including clay and papermache. Emphasis is placed on making “the best from waste” by using things which we call as waste.

 

    • Karate

In today’s world it is very essential to master the art of self-defense. Girls and boys start from the basic karate level and they have won medals in inter school karate competitions too.

 

    • Skating

Balancing and concentration are very important in skating. The students learn the art of keeping a cool mind and master the art of concentration too. Skating is done under great supervision and guidance of expert and professional faculty.

 

    • Yoga

    • Games and Sports

Outdoor and indoor games and sports are an integral part of a student’s life. It not only enhances their physical development but also strengthens their team spirits and level of tolerance. We have a number of indoor and outdoor sports ranging from chess, carom, gym, yoga, khokho, kabaddi, football etc.

 

    • Activities

Several other activities are carried out round the year to help children develop themselves in a well-rounded manner, by exposing and sensitizing them to different facets of life.
