BALANCED SCHOOLING

At EuroSchool, we believe in bringing out the best in your child.

The cornerstone of our pedagogy is ‘Balanced Schooling’ which gives equal importance to academic and non-academic curriculum. Our Learn – Reinforce – Practice – Apply methodology, paves the way for the students to do well in academics, with the co-curricular activities helping children to develop their creative, sporting and musical aspirations. In this journey of self-discovery, children are guided by our expert educators through engagement programmes which build 21st century skills like lateral and critical thinking, creativity and reasoning.

  • EURO SCHOOL NADIAD started in June, 2009. We cater to students right from Pre-school to Grade X and to Grade XI in the next academic year. Being a co-educational, English-medium school affiliated to The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), we at EUROSCHOOL, NADIAD, strike the correct balance between traditional teaching methods and new-generation teaching aids.
  • Our school aims to provide all-round development to each student, laying emphasis on academics, sports, music, fine arts, language and logic, through an innovative approach to CBSE curriculum designed to make learning enjoyable.
  • The education helps inculcate among students ‘a sense of purpose’ in whatever they do and make the learning process a pleasure and adventure, so that they acquire knowledge to weigh and consider outcomes with reason and discrimination.
  • Students have a smooth transition from Euro Senior in EuroKids to grade 1st in Euro School and they are now ready for the transition from “every child being a winner”, to now being in “healthy competition”.
  • A student enters middle school as a playful and curious child in the fifth standard and emerges from 8th standard as a responsible, confident and focused student ready to step into the serious world of academics in senior school.Middle school deals with students of classes 5 to 8, the age group from 10 to 13. This is an age where children undergo remarkable changes both physically and psychologically. It is the ideal time to introduce them to a wider range of subjects and a varied choice in sports and activities.
  • Students are exposed to different subjects and the teaching methodology involves more of experimentation and learning through experience.

EDUCATORS

Our teachers work closely with students to foster synergy and equanimity. They are more like mentors to young students and are ever present to guide them in their formative years.

In pursuit of becoming inspirational, EuroSchool teachers are motivated to reflect on their teaching experiences, read about advancements in their respective subject areas and participate in enriching workshops.

As life-long learners, teachers have to constantly reinvent themselves professionally and personally. To teach the 21st century student, teachers have to become 21st century learners themselves.

The EuroSchool curriculum and pedagogy is also aligned with the Bloom’s taxonomy of learning which is reflected through classroom activity, follow up work, review questions and assessments. The underpinning philosophy of the curriculum design at EuroSchool is the five E’s: Engage, Explore, Experience, Empower and Empathy.

ACADEMICS

EuroSchool offers curriculum in accordance with the ICSE or CBSE boards at individual schools and select EuroSchools also offer the CAIE, Cambridge Assessment International Education (IGCSE). The Academic module for EuroSchool puts focus on using technology as a key enabler for learning. Our classroom teaching is augmented with Computer labs, science labs and the Smart Class system that uses 3D animation and multimedia to augment teaching outcomes.

Using Pupils Performance Standards with Weekly lesson plans, learning is structured based on 70 specific skills and techniques laid down for English, Mathematics, Physical Science, Social Science, Environmental Education and Information and Communication Technology. Every EuroSchool teacher is trained and has a detailed ‘Weekly Lesson Plan’ for each subject.

Our curriculum is oriented towards creating competent global citizens, rather than students who just pass the grades with relevant marks. We put focus on current international best practices with special emphasis on the way knowledge is imparted.

BEYOND ACADEMICS

The Beyond Academic module for EuroSchool runs on the concept of clubs. The underpinning idea of clubs at EuroSchool is a voyage of self-discovery and understanding. They form an integral part of all EuroSchools and find a place within regular school hours. Clubs are conducted with the same spirit of commitment and excellence as academics as they impart value education and build general knowledge amongst students. The breadth of choice offered provides an enriching experience not only beyond academics but also helps students acquire skills in diversified field.
